Ruben Orengo has played the violin for 57 years. He is a long time member of the Asheville Symphony and retired as the string orchestra teacher at Asheville High and Asheville Middle school after teaching there for 34 years. Ruben also has a Latin jazz concert/dance-band Picante. The band is available for concerts, receptions, parties, corporate events, festivals. He is also a member of the Rio Trio.
